I feel the same way about quick-fixes in self-help, however, I believe that striving to be a better person is necessary. For example, if I remain comfortable with myself, and I don’t make an effort to workout and get back in shape, I’ll become progressively unhealthier. On the flip side, self-help always makes me feel unproductive, even when I attempt to relax. I guess we have to be wise and take any self-help advice with a grain of salt.
